These cork tiles are excellent value, but beware - you get what you pay for - and I found some inconsistencies in tile edge quality, squareness and dimension. Some tiles varied by 1-2mm, which is problematic over a long run, and you frequently don't know they're not right until you've put them in position on adhesive. They did a good job in our caravan, and would be fine in smallish areas, but check-lay tiles before putting down on glue. Still jolly good value in the right place, though... (Posted on 11/08/2011)

Good cork flooring. Very economical alternative to carpet. Easy to lay, edges curled when first laid but soon settled and now flush and flat. Nice and warm underfoot and hopefully lessening the noise for the man downstairs. Stained ours for a darker finish. Yet to see how durable they are long term but so far very pleased. These cork tiles do the job and look good when varnished. However, they are often slightly variable in size and that makes it difficult to lay them straight and you end up with slight overlapping or gaps.
They are value for money, but not the tiles for a perfectionist. (Posted on 11/08/2011)

I brought the tiles for underlay on a model train layout and have found them to be ideal for this perhaps unusual purpose. The tiles are of good quality for the price and the cork is well bonded so that cutting with a craft knife caused no problems. The tiles arrived before promised and were very well packaged. The tiles are good value for money. They are of generally good quality but they vary slightly in size making exact fitting difficult. Nothing a good DIY person can't sort out. They wear well if given at least 3 coats of varnish. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
