Scheppach HMS 2600 CI 10" x 8" Planer / Thicknesser 240V INCLUDING Base Unit

At last the proud owner of this amazing machine. It helps to shop around a bit though as different companies advertise different prices. so check with who you're dealing with. This machine comes directly from NMA scheppach ltd and is delivered by a specialist delivery company. Incredibly heavy and stored in a large wooden crate for protection which must be dismantled and bolts undone from the base of the pallet to move the planer safely. I recommend a sack truck capable of lifting over 150kg weight unless you have a wheel base you can move the machine to the workshop. It's a big, heavy machine and I advise anyone to buy the universal wheel base if moving around the workshop like I have to. you'll need it as it won't move any other way. Take careful note of the instructions for assembly, callibration and usage. the base needs to be assembled carefully and tight. it's a two man job to lift the planer but I recommend placing the main unit on it's side, building the stand, sitting it in place and clamping it, add the wheel base (optional) and use tie straps to keep in place and with two people bring it up to standing position. Wiring is straight forward and needs a 16 amp supply. DO NOT use a 13Amp plug as this will kill the machine.
This gives the best possible finish, nice and quiet running, very accurate, reliable. I'm using it every day for joinery production and it never lets me down. couldn't be without it. A proud scheppach machinery user. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
