It went together quite easily, but drawers bolts did not allign, used srews=no problem.Also it appears designed for someone left handed?? Vice on left shoild be at end and vice on the right would be better on the front. main problem in using the bench to saw, vice is in the way?
Excellent value for money and good and heavy.

Working surface is 1,370 x 340 overall plus a 140mm wide full length tool well at the rear, not as generous as the product dimensions(including vices) suggests.
It took me about 1hour to unpack and build from the voluminous instructions, this presented no problems.

I was presently surprised how stable the bench was and liked the look of the oak finish.

One reviewer suggested that the layout is left handed, I reviewed this before buying and found the layout matches the standard arrangement which I felt must be for right handed use. However, the vice jaws can be opened until removed so getting them out of the way for a particular job couldn't be easier. I guess they can be permanently moved, though you would have to drill new holes and move the mounting 'nut' that the vice thread screws into. However left handed users may want to look for an alternative where the vices can be re-sited more easily.

Overall for the money this is an excellent product, solid, flexible, nice looking and versatile.

Nice sturdy (and easily constructed) item. For the price I was also surprised at the weight of the bench - impressive to say the least.

Have to also comment on the order/delivery: -

Absolutely wonderful service. I live way up on the very north coast of Scotland, and delivery took just three days, for no more than the normal heavy item surcharge (£10).

Service like that just cannot be underestimated.
