Thor replacement cylindrical faces are constructed from compressed Rawhide, these are for use with a malleable iron split head hammer.
Rawhide face will absorb the shock of the blow and transfers the force to the item being struck without fear of damage.
The Thor rawhide faces are ideal where a heavy blow is required combined with a relatively small striking area.
Faces are designed to wear and be replaced.
For use with size 1 Thor split head hammers .
