Replacement irons (blades) are available for all Stanley block and specialist planes.
All Stanley replacement plane irons are made from chrome carbon steel which has excellent edge retention characteristics and allows a razor sharp edge to be honed.
All cutters are fine rotary ground to give a flat surface that is easier to sharpen.
G : Denotes suitable for old style planes.

Quality Value Price I'm dissapointed... It came with a dull and rough edge, not ready to use, so I now have to sharpen it before use. But I suppose it's fine when it's made ready. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
