Stud sensor locates the edges of studs or joists through dry wall and other common wallboard.
Maximum depth 19 mm.
+/-3 mm wood stud centre detection accuracy.
+/-6 mm metal stud centre detection accuracy.
Works off a 9V battery and features automatic shut off. Pencil notch for marking, LED display and buzzer indicates stud and joist edges.
Continuous live wire detection.

Quality Value Price Not easy to use, especially when wires and small bore central heating pipes are also in the plasterboard wall. Some of the problem could be that I am not yet "au fait" with its characteristics. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
