Took a while to set up, but once set worked well....Review by Rod L
Quality Value Price Took a while to set up, but once set worked well. Supplied with 7/16 guided cutter, replacement available from SIPUK.co.uk, have found some 1/2 inch guided cutters but can not find 9/16 inch guided cutters. One small complaint is that the top clamping and comb assembly can move backwards and forwards which affects the machined joint. Care must be taken to ensure comb setting from front edge when clamping top piece.
Found that the work clamping for left side was inadequate to hold work in place working from left to right, would need spacer to the right hand side stops.
Summary, first time I have produced dovetail joints but after 3 attempts adjusting the end stops produced good joints. Good value for money in comparison with other jigs on the market. (Posted on 11/08/2011) -

Quality Value Price It is good value when compared to similar products, most of which only include a single comb.Glueing coarse sandpaper onto the gripping side of the clamps will stop unwanted movement of the job. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
