There is a little slide switch on the top of the inside of the bin which allows the lid to remain open which is very handy if you have a good deal of waste and rubbish such as peelings etc.

Another feature with this bin is the convenient way you are able to change the bags even massive bags can be used with this bin. There are integrated handles built in which allows you to lift the inner bin easily. After you have done this position the bin remove the old bag and then put on the new bag. There is a clever perforated opening on one side of the inner bin so even if you have large bags you can tighten up the bag and insert the excess into the perforated opening.
