The whole machine is very heavily built with extensive use of cast iron throughout - including the legs. Electronic speed control is delivered by a high quality inverter system from Schneider and all main components operate on easy to use cam locks.
Weighing in at over 200kg and with a swing of 20" over the bed this lathe will handle the most demanding applications with consummate ease and we believe the value for money offered here will redefine the heavy sector of the market.

Quality Value Price I have been woodturning for 18 years on many diferent lathes and in my opinion this is the best yet it is solid stable with its mass of cast irion the tool rest and tail stock just glide along the bed the indexing works a treat swiveling hedstock and out board turning is rock solid and works a treat belt chang couldent be better just pull up the leaver and flick over the belt job done and it packs loads of power at all speeds I put it under quite a lot of presure with a natural edge bowl and it dident affect the speed one bit the position of the speed control and stop button on the right hand side I found to be best I would say this lathe is worth every penny I paid for it as for quality I dont think it could get any better (Posted on 11/08/2011)
