The Record RPCV12 carving chisel set contains 12 chisels made from spring alloy steel to keep their cutting edge longer and resist corrosion.

Included in this set are a 12mm "V" chisel and a 10mm "V" chisel. These chisels have a very fine tip on them and are ideal for scribing and shaping. A superb modelling chisel.
The 12mm straight chisel is ideal for getting into tight corners.
The 8mm, 16mm and 25mm fishtail gouges have straight, narrow shanks that flares out at the end to form this fishtail shaped tool. As the shaft is very narrow it allows the tool access to tight areas.
The 18mm skewed spoon chisel is included with this pack. They reach into roughed-out areas and hollows for the purpose of smoothing.
The 12mm and 18mm bent chisel are handy for deep work.
6mm Gouge Chisel has a curved cutting edge. The most used category of carving tools.
A skew chisel is a long, flat, bevel-edged chisel with an angled tip. Ideal to smooth a spindle. You get a 16mm shew with the pack.
