At first glance this handy gadget seens ilittle pricey compared to competitors - but performance-wise it is well-worth it! It traced live cables buried in my plastered walls with reassuring accuracy - I use it before I drill into a wall even where I do not suspect there to be cables - just in case! And its ability to map out studs in partition walls to securely find the best position for wall-mounted accessories is unexpectedly reliable and more useful than predicted - but it beats my old practice of "sounding" for studwork by listening for the changing sound of repeated tapping ...
