Quality Value Price Purchased to replace an earlier version of the same model. Near perfect in every way - would be perfect ( for me ) if speed control went down to 2000 rpm. Most similar units start at 8 to 10,000 rpm - too fast for delicate polishing. Quality of construction seems as good as ever - the previous one lasted for years. Not the most expensive but the best speed control, precision and endurance I have found. So glad I have again found a supplier of Proxxon products. (Posted on 11/08/2011)

Quality Value Price Had a very cheap version of this type of drill and the difference is remarkable and what I hoped Proxxon would deliver. It is easy to handle, doesn't wobble/vibrate so the control is wonderful and is thus is useful for presion work. My only complaint is for such a nice drill the case could be better--but this is obviously not a reflection on the drill itself. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
