Proxxon 28092 Scroll Saw DSH

This scroll saw is absolutely safe so it is ideal for schools and training centres. It boasts a super cutting capacity (wood to 50mm, plastics 30mm, non-ferrous metals 10 mm) and yet runs with only a low hum.

There are no issues even when cutting acrylics, fibreglass, polystyrene foams, rubber, leather and cork. The air blower with adjustable nozzle provides clear visibillity of work piece and cutting line.

The machine base is made of cast iron for vibration-free operation and stability. You can feel the difference compared to cheaper imported brands. The sturdy aluminium die-cast table tilts up to 45 Degrees for mitre sawing.

There is a twin cast iron saw over-arm with ball bearing direct drive and knob for tensioning blade.

Standard commercially available pin blades can be rapidly fitted and stored in the special compartment on the side of the machine.

The clamping jaws also clamp plain end blades.
