Floetrol can strengthen hiding in yellows, reds and other weak colours. It keeps the Wet Edge open for a flawless finish. It is superb for eliminatiing roller marks & streaks, especially on all 'deep colours. It can save you a lot of hard work as less coats are required.

Ideal when you are changing colour from one extreme to another. It is also superb for all special effect work such as faux, ragging and marbling. Even in warm conditions as there is more wet edge it saves you a lot of messing around and inconvenience. Makes all Emulsions including the latest Gloss 'flow' like a dream.

Women love Floetrol because it means a lot less elbow grease. Floetrol is very handy for decorative artists and mural artists. Floetrol is recommended with all hand electric spray guns like Wagner and Bosch. Floetrol is ideal for cutting in where some paints will usually let you down. What is cutting in? Cutting in is when you are painting up to a feature such as coving or a door frame. On a normal smooth surface you should be able to paint a straight edge folling the lline of the frame or coving. Some paint can be very thick and it is difficult to cut in. Not with Floetrol mixed in.

Here is a small tip when using Floetrol.

Wish that I had found this product sooner!
I was having problems painting my kitchen. No matter what I did, I was getting horrid brush marks in Dulux Kitchen Paint. Floetrol makes water based paint behave like oil based paint.
I used it with Dulux Trade Vinyl Emulsion in my Hallway, all the problems with Patchy walls just ceased to be a problem. The paint remains "Wet" for much longer, so it dries slowly and very smoothly. When you use a roller, you don't get lines where you move to the next area.
I have found it is not suitable for ALL Water Based Paints, ie, Wickes Flexible Ceiling Paint, it stops it drying to a smooth flat finish. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
