If you have surfaces or external walls that usually do not hold paint and are peeling. If you suffer with chalky walls then what you should do is brush off the loose chalk and apply your chosen paint with 25% of Emulsa Bond mixed into first coat.

Here is a guide of what you should mix Elulsa bond with your 1st coat only. Surfaces that have not been painted such as non-porous and stable surfaces mix 30% with your first coat. For porous and chalky surfaces mix 50% with your first coat only. Surfaces that have been painted already mix 25% with stable surfaces and 50% with chalky surfaces. Unstable surfaces or in very bad shape mix with 50% emulsa bond. Wood, plastic, glass mix with 50% emulsa and vinyl coated paper with 25%. Apply second coat of paint without Emulsa bond.
