Blackfriar Anti-Slip Decking Coating Treatment 2.5 Litres

Easy to use and appears to work although we haven't had much rain since it was applied. Only disappointment is that the finish is very glossy which wasn't obvious from the product description which simply says "Clear". (Posted on 11/08/2011)

Basically what this is is yacht varnish with silver sand added. Allow more for coverage rather than less (Having said that the decking I used it on was grooved and had never been treated before) Easy to apply with the caveat that it must be well stirred. Finish is good and I think will be non slip but we havent had enough rain to really test it. (Posted on 11/08/2011)

This product did just what I wanted it to do - slightly darkened the bare wood and gave it a sheen, similar to when it was still damp after rain. It also provided the slight non-slip surface as advertised and the coverage was exactly as claimed. Basically "just as it said on the tin", and good value. (Posted on 11/08/2011)

This product did exactly "what it said on the tin", i.e. provided an effective anti-slip surface while enhancing the apprearance of the deck giving it a warm sheen and slightly darkening the bare wood. The coverage was also exactly as claimed and application with a brush pretty easy. One satisfied customer. (Posted on 11/08/2011)

I have found this anti-slip decking varnish very good.It is very good,just make sure you stir often to aggitate the sand in it. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
