Quality Value Price This is the first bandsaw I bought, and did so because Dewalt is supposed to be a quality brand name.Well these are my thoughts. Its quiet to run, cuts well through quite thick material. Initial set up was easy, and the instructions are easy to follow.Have used it a lot and so far it has done all i wanted it to do.
it seems quite well made and for the money was good value.
My only concern is once I changed the blade, which after the first time wasn't to difficult to do, I cant be sure I set the guides up correctly as its very difficult to see around the area of the guides therefore adjustment is a bit hit or miss. Maybe with a bit mor experiance it will get easier.
Overall Im very pleased withit s performance and quality of build (for a hobbiests machine). (Posted on 11/08/2011)
