Delivery Charges

Delivery is FREE for orders of £100.00 and over.

The standard delivery charge starts at just £1.95 and applies to orders under £100.00.

Adding any product to the basket will show how much delivery will cost. Depending on the number of items in the basket, delivery will range from £1.95 to a maxinum of £5.95 within England.

 

Delivery Areas

We deliver to all parts of the UK. Different delivery options may exist depending on your postcode. For example, next day delivery may be available in certain areas and not in others.

Certain post code may incur a delivery surcharge.

Delivery outside the UK

Although the bulk of our orders are shipped within Great Britain we do however receive many requests from customers wishing to purchase our products from outside the United Kingdom.

In these instances we use Parcel force Worldwide / Fedex to deliver these goods.

In most cases there will be an additional charge which is dependent on the weight and size of the product(s)

Select your country from the Drop down Menu. Our system will then calculates shipping based on the destination and/or weight/ Quantity of the product ordered.

Place your order via our secure checkout, paying by Credit/Debit Card, Cheque or Paypal

We may contact you if an extra delivery charge applies to your order.

 

Delivery timescales

We aim to deliver your order within the timescales quoted in the ‘Delivery’ field on an individual product page. The normal delivery timescale is 2-3 working days, however in a lot of instances your order will be delivered next working day.

Some products may take up to 28 days to be delivered. This usually relates to larger items for example Garden sheds and some Greenhouses. In these instances these products maybe delivered directly by the manufacturer and can take up to the time displayed.

Some Greenhouses - allow up to 21 days

Steel / Metal Garden Sheds - allow up to 28 days.

Order Tracking

To check the status of your order, click on the "Login" link at the top of the screen.

You will then be able to see your most recent orders, your current DIY Points balance and the status of your order.

You will also be able to track you order as it leaves our warehouse via one of our couriers

 

I am not going to be at home to receive my pre-arranged delivery, what do I need to do?

Please contact us to as soon as possible to let us know. We require a signature for all deliveries made by our own delivery vehicles and third party carriers.

We reserve the right to charge a re-deliver fee for any pre arranged deliveries that fail..

The site indicates "In Stock". When will I receive my goods?

For products, which are held at our main warehouse, we will endeavour to process your order within 48 hours and contact you to confirm via email the despatch of your order.

The site says my product is available within 5-7 days or up to 28 days delivery. What will happen now?

These dates indicate to us the approximate lead times manufacturers quote us for delivery of your goods. Some of our deliveries are carried out by the manufacturers themselves and usually take place within the timescales quoted in working days e.g. excluding Saturdays. For products that are not delivered directly by manufacturers are ordered in to our main warehouse, we will then contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date.

What about damage on delivery?

Before you sign the delivery note, please make sure that the goods are unpacked and inspected when they arrive. In the unlikely event of damage occurring in transit, this will help towards a speedy replacement if the goods are refused.

All damages must be reported to us within 24hrs of delivery. For all damaged or faulty goods please report to us by telephone, and then confirm this to us in writing. You can also email us at sales@diytools.co.uk
