Using any length of hose of less than 100mm diameter will reduce the performance of the extractor and should therefore be kept to a minimum.
A 100mm hose clamp should be used to fasten the hose the reducer. From: Outside diameter 100mm, Inside diameter 93mm. To: Outside diameter 50mm, Inside diameter 45mm.

    Put this together straight from box & used it immediately. Did a good job thicknessing & finish was excellent. Only minus point was the dust extraction. The outlet nozzle blocked a few times & was a hassle to unfix pipe, clear & re-fix. (maybe design fault.....If outlet was 4"instead of 2").Apart from that, very pleased with machine & would recommend. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
