Arbortech PCH350 Power Chisel Complete

Very powerful, Easy to use, just what I was looking for.I was after a powered chisel that could carve softish cotswold stone, this seems to be the business and the blades have a lasting quality. (Posted on 11/08/2011)

The machine is safe and easy to use. Read the instructions with care. Take note about using the special oil supplied. I used the power chisell to make totem poles it carved with ease. There are a whole range of chisels suggest you check theArbortech web site before purchase .Other models might be more suitable. I chose to buy thecomplete item you can if you are clever fix it to a standard angle grinder again check the web site.I bought my first power chisel about 18 months ago and burnt out the motor using it so much I am now on my second machine.
As far as I know nothing on the market can compete at the price with Arbotech.

Heavy piece of machinery
Needs practice to use but is very effective - cuts well with and across the grain
The need for constant oiling is a bit off putting

This is a brilliant tool I have saved myself hours of hard work in my hobby of wood carving.The performance and quality has been superb.
