ABUS 135 Series High Security hasp and staple made from double hardened malleable iron, to resist physical attack and a through hardened steel staple to fit 14mm shackle padlocks. Kit includes coach bolts & backing plates for ultimate security.
Manufactured to Class 5 of the CEN insurance rating when used with a 37/80 padlock.
Hwere to use it:
Securing sizeable objects (storerooms, containers, lorries).
Securing objects with a high risk of theft.
Special requirements imposed by insurance companies.
Suitable for doors closing flush, i.e. door leaf and door frame are level.

Quality Value Price Extremely solid and well made. However website gives no details of how it is attached to the door. The hasp is attached by bolts through the door with nuts on the back of the door but stud length is not given. If you have a very thick door the bolt may not be long enough. It is solid enough to stop someone getting in but is not much use if a thief finds another way in because the hasp can be undone from the inside. (Posted on 11/08/2011)
